A message from Wafaa El-Osta:

I'm delighted to announce the first farm trip, happening on Saturday, August 1st.

It's a curated day including farm-centric activities, a farm inspired lunch, and arranged transportation.

We’re meeting at York Mills TTC station. There’s parking there too if you want to drive, or you can take the subway.
From there we’ll take the bus out of Toronto to Everdale Farm for the day.

We’ll do a guided walk, learn about sustainable farming, eat a fresh farm meal cooked in an outdoor oven, and just get some real fresh air and take lovely photos.

The best part? Every ticket supports a startup program — Farm Bus, by Local2globalsolutions.inc— that’s helping farms to table in new innovative ways. It helps local farms right now, and in the future it will also help immigrants and newcomers with farming knowledge get opportunities here.
