You're Invited!

We are excited to announce that we are hosting an End of Season Gathering on Sunday November 30th in Toronto to celebrate our year so far. We are inviting participants from our past and current programs and friends of Sundance Commons who work within the food and land based movement. This gathering is a fun way to meet new people and reconnect with past friends too. To learn more and RSVP click here.

Last Month's Highlights

The month of October was our last month of programming for the 2025 year! We have served over 150 individual participants of our programs this year...wow! For the month of October, we held a Apple Harvesting workshop at our Georgetown orchard location and we held a Garlic Planting workshop at our Rexdale urban farm location.

News! Land Access Available at our Rouge Valley Incubator Farm Site near Scarborough

Are you looking to start your own market garden? Do you have gardening/small farming experience? Are you looking for land access close to Toronto? Well, you're in luck!

Intake is open for our Rouge Valley, Schomberg and Mount Forest incubation farm sites. We have land access available for people who would like to start a farm business at our incubation site from 1/8 acre to 1/4 acre for year one Farmer Members.

To apply to become a Farmer Member at Sundance Commons please see the link here.

Sundance Commons has been vending at the Allan Gardens Farmers Market in October. Now that November is here, Kwame will be vending at the Dufferin Grove Farmers Market. Lots of apples at a good price for bulk apples too. Come by Thursdays from 3pm-7pm at Dufferin Grove Park in Toronto to buy our apples and directly support our growing non-profit.
