Happy June!

We are happy to announce many free workshops available to everyone (not just youth!).

Open to All!

(not just youth!)

We are excited to announce our first collaborative workshop of the season!

On Sunday June 23rd we are collaborating with Evermeadow Farm to bring you an interactive workshop on Regenerative Livestock Management.

Come to their pasture-based farm where they raise chicken, lamb and pigs to learn about beyond-organic management practices such as sustainable rotational grazing. Through our interactive field walk with Josh, you will see how they have increased biodiversity and resilience on the land they manage through their regenerative livestock practices.

During this interactive workshop, learn how to trellis tomatoes, fertilize, intensively prune, cultivate and troubleshoot common issues. At our Woodbine urban farm there are lots of tomatoes being grown in the field as well as the greenhouse.  From a backyard gardener to a market farmer - you'll learn how to grow really great tomatoes!

New Farmer Training Program

We have less than 5 spots left for our next cohort which starts mid-summer!

The New Farmer Training Program is a free twice a year educational program for youth under 29 who would like to start their own farming operation or become farm workers.
