We hope you all are doing well and still enjoying your time in your gardens and outdoors 🙂
We started a static compost pile during the summer and would love you to come to follow up and learn more the wonderful world of compost to regenerate the soil....Now, this fall season calls for new compost in our Milky Way Garden-Learning Hub- The new compost
pile will be started next week September 18th
in the evening with the support of Compost Toronto team from
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Before that, we would really love to have something to feed our compost as it is hungry. Please donate any green garden waste that you have accumulated, ideally grass cuttings, chopped garden waste and dry leaves. If you could start prepping the waste and you
can bring it on Monday or Tuesday. it would be highly appreciated. Please CONFIRM if you have some yard waste that could be donated and also let us know if you are available to participate in this activity.
Hopefully we have a lot of food to feed our compost and do our part in Climate Mitigation by regenerative gardening! Thank you
I am cc'd on this email Ajush Hedge, our York University Placement student who will be supporting our environmental program and gardening needs during this fall. Please feel free to also contact him via email if you have any questions
Sincerely,
