Thorncliffe Park Urban Farmers is HIRING! 

We're looking for a Community Garden Lead to help us cultivate not just plants but connections!

Role: Community Garden Lead
📍 Location: 53 Thorncliffe Park Dr. 
⏰ Time Commitment: 6 hrs per weekend - 3 hours on Saturdays and 3 hours on Sundays. (Aug - Oct; time off is permitted)
💚 Stipend: Yes, this is a paid position! Salary range is $22.50-$25.50.

Seeking a passionate and experienced gardener to assist our fellow lead gardeners in overseeing our weekend gardening sessions.

The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable in horticulture with a strong sense of environmental stewardship with the desire to teach through community engagement. Ideally, 3+ years of horticulture/ gardening experience with strong knowledge of plant care, soil health, pest management and native/ecological gardening principles.

You will be supervising volunteers, leading in gardening activities, contributing to site development and biodiversity planning, and assisting with session work plans and daily tasks.
