Keeping up a theme of rooftop gardens, the next TUG general meeting will include a tour of FoodShare’s School Grown rooftop farm.

There are still a few spaces left for the Aquaponics 101 Tours this Friday and Monday. Don’t miss out on a chance to see a fully productive, small-space fish and produce farm in the city!

Getting there
Aqua Greens is located at 2798 Thamesgate Drive, Unit #7, just off of Airport Rd.
GO Bus 34 (Brampton/North York) leaves York Mills at 12:05 pm and Yorkdale at 12:15 pm, arriving at Thamesgate Drive and Airport Road a little before 1PM. Return is around 3PM, arriving at Yorkdale at 3:50 PM and York Mills at 4:00. Buses run once an hour, so don’t miss it!
If you’re already in the west end, here are a couple of options:
Brampton route 30 leaves from Westwood Mall terminal every 30 minutes, drops you at Airport Rd & Thamesgate Drive
Brampton Zum 511 on Steeles or Zum 501 from York U takes you to Airport Rd, transfer & take #30 south to Airport Rd & Thamesgate
