Dr. Jo Sharma of the Feeding City Lab will host a conversation on how seed stewardship and grassroots farming initiatives are shaping resilient food systems in urban spaces, drawing on lived farming experience, research and collaborative action. The special guests include Ms. Michelle Dang, Research Coordinator from the Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security, and farmers and community-based researchers, Mr. Jessey Njau (Zawadi farm), Dr. Sean Smith (Crooked Farmz) and Mr. Jon Gagnon (YMCA) from the Many Hands Urban Farm Collective at Downsview Park in Toronto.
