Lowest rate geodesic passing through a point in the directed landscape
Daniel Spivak
University of Toronto
The directed landscape is a random directed metric. I present the most probable metric for which the geodesic between two given points passes through a third given point, including its rate and the precise shape of the geodesic. I will also discuss the analogous problem in the context of the longest increasing subsequence of a random permutation.
