Allo All,

There's a boardgame night at my house on Friday, December 14th from
7pm - 12am.

Vic and Joseph were considering coming at one point in time, but then
chickened out. So, I have invited them again, but refrained from
inundating you guys with it.

However, you are certainly most welcome to come!

Here is the event on facebook:

If you feel this is something you may be interested in, tell me, or
invite yourself to the event! :D

Sorry, I've got a thing at my house that night. And if
people choose you over me ... there will be hell to
pay. ;)

Why does everyone I know want to plan something for Dec 14? Argh -
I've been invited to like four different events that night!

Hope both events go well!

Man, you are popular!

That's it, you're no longer a geek. If you have that many invites...

Oh, and if LITHY reads her email, I finished her banner. I placed it
in the files of this group.
It's turning into my own personal storage bin.

That's not what I meant! It's not that there's a lot of invites, it's
that the ones that are there are all concurrent. Clearly my various
groups of friends and coworkers need to better coordinate
themselves :o)

Sure Ryan. You're popular. Admit it.

And I thought we were lonely and scorned geeks together.

I think the chickening out had something to do with getting almost no
sleep. I probably would have ended up fast asleep, face-planted right
into the middle of the board game. :)

OH! Falling asleep... of course! See... I read about you two
chickening out... and figured it couldn't be a coincidence.

I guess you're both planning to take part now that you know JJ and I
won't be there. ;)

*tips his hat* Have fun.

You know, I don't know what Leo979 (Marty) is referring to, but it
seems to be a
'nudge nudge wink wink' kinda of comment.

:D

Boardgame night tomorrow! I think we have almost 14 people coming.
Good grief, I don't know how you'll all fit now. The most I've ever
had in my house (although, it was at my old house) was 24.

Of course, there was the time of Zoe's Baptism, and I invited everyone
in my inbox for a barbecue.
Dove asked me "Who's coming?"
I said "I dunno."
To which she responded, "Did you get an RSVP?"
And I said meekly, "No."
She gives me this you're-in-trouble glare and I leave to another room.

In the end, 70 people came through our house. Not all at once, but it
was a large crowd. We kept them all in the back.

Next time, I'll get them to do some housework for me.

Allo Nanoers!

Sorry, this is four days past, but thanks to all that came!

I had a great time and there was a lot of laughing and craziness.
Hopefully, I'll get another one going again in January or so.

Just in case anyone cares, what games did we play? Well!

Liar's Dice
Ricochet Robot
Saboteur
Rette Sich Verr Kann
Niagara
Taboo

:D

Soooo how are those logos coming along? :)

Hi Errol (and all),

I hope you'll forgive my belated response.

Thanks again for hosting the games night - I had a lot of fun! I'm
looking forward to the next one so I can lose properly at the kickass
German boat game ;)

Happy holidays to all... hope to see you early in the new year!

~Victoria
