Missed yesterday's "First Site" presentation due to meeting about a new site. Thank you for posting slides on slideshare. 

The upcoming ecomm presentation is supposed to be a "Joomla ecomm 101" presentation. But what focus do you suggest?

Hi Bob, Since it is not software specific, you could talk about the issues involved in creating a e-commerce site, or you could discuss the operation of an e-commerce site,

or you could install a number of software and compare them,

you could include the basic non-software PayPal button only e-commerce site, and all the paypal business tools.

discuss payment gateways, PayPal options

discuss optimizing, developing unique descriptions for SEO, making sure you have a content development strategy for traffic, shopping carts on facebook,

traffic strategies?

e-commerce shopping networks like amazon, comparing networks , google shop etc,

discuss drop shipping?

just off the top of my head, I hope it gives you some ideas.
