Looking for a SDET (Software engineer in Test)// 100% remote/C2C

Hello Folks,

We are looking for a SDET (Software engineer in Test). It's a remote job and the duration is 12 months.

The ideal candidates will have experience in Billing, Telecommunications.

.     At least 3 years of experience in Software Testing in Telecommunication Billing Systems (preferably Ensemble)       

2.     Considerable experience in Jira and qTest with the following activities

a.     Test Design – use of Test Plan and Test Lab

b.     Uploading of Test Cases to qTest

c.     Ensuring that the requirement traceability matrix is completed

d.     Ensuring the evidence of the tests is documented

 

3.     Technical skills must include Unix, SQL, Selenium and CI/CD tools like Jenkins

4.     Good understanding of Microservices

5.     Understanding Business Requirements and translating it onto Testing Requirements              

6.     Work with the development team to undersatand the system functionality and ensure that the system behaviour matches business requirements

7.     At least 3 years’ experience in Unix and SQL

8.     Well versed in various kinds of testing including Functional Testing, System Integration Testing and End-to-End Testing

9.     Has a understanding of telecom Billing Concepts (Post-Paid and Pre-Paid)

a.      Understanding of Usage creation (SMS, MMS, Call, Roaming, data)

b.     Accounts Receivables/Collections

c.      Invoicing
