Database Management Services and Business Intelligence (Data Engineer/Developer)
Sub Tasks -Data Architecture and Engineering - Contractor will conduct data engineering services related to the data lake for Intelligence Lead Policing (ILP) project including but not limited to analysis, design and implementation of data governance, data mapping, data interoperability and data analytics capabilities.
Sub Tasks - Data Development and Support - The Contractor will perform data development and support for data and analysis tools used to access the data in the data lake. This will involve the use of data integration tools and pipelines, import/extract tools, process automation, data process alerts, and bug fixes to include analysis, integration, and reporting services
Sub Tasks - Documentation and training -The Contractor will develop documentation for the data lake on implementation and support for Department of Public Safety ITD staff. Documents should include:
• Data Lake implementation/rebuild processes to include each environment
• Data Lake support processes
• Data Lake ingestion processes This will also include performing training and transition of the data lake support to DPS Full Time Employees (FTE).
Sub Tasks - Procuring Agency Acceptance - Contractor will produce a weekly status report to the Procuring Agency on the status of projects and work conducted. The reports will be reviewed and accepted by the Procuring Agency Project Management Bureau Chief and the Procuring Agency Chief Information Officer
