New to the group

Hello All,

My family is newish to the Toronto area. We have four boys, aged
between 6 and 2 months, three of whom attend Netivot Ha Torah school
in Thornhill where we live.

I have taught a homeschooled boy for three years now (not my own). I
teach history and literature. I have a Ph.D in Architectural History
and Masters degrees in Jewish Studies and Art History.

We are considering homeschooling our children at some point, and would
be interested in connecting with others in the same situation,
especially in Thornhill. I would be happy to teach the subjects I
already teach, but could do others. Next year, I will be doing some
homeschooling with the older three at home, who will go to Netivot in
the mornings, but stay home in the afternoon (because I don't view
public school as either necessary at this age, or able to offer what I
can at home). I would be interested in working with some other parents/
children on some group activities -- educationally oriented but fun,
as they should be at this preschool age.
