Hello, Haskellers!

It's been quite awhile since our last meeting, and I'm extremely pleased to announce the upcoming one on February 20th at 6pm at Lighthouse Labs (662 King West). I'm also super happy to introduce you all to Jonathan Lorimer, who is going to be taking on the hosting and organizing responsibilities for this event from now on. So new night, new location, and new host: it's a whole new setup for the 2020 lunar year! :thumbsup:

I'm really excited about this reboot of the Toronto Haskell User Group, and looking forward to seeing you all again! Please join me in welcoming Jonathan as the new organizer for this group -- he's been doing a great job with the hands-on Haskell/functional programming group over the last year, and I'm looking forward to having a stable schedule for this one as well (my travel schedule has been too dynamic lately to provide that).

Hello everyone,

I am Jonathan, the host. I was just wondering if there is any interest in this event? I want to provide a venue for more advanced Haskell discussion, and I wanted to gauge what attendance might look like.

I'll be there! There's also at least one other person that has interest (he's already part of the CS Cabal slack, so if you announce this there, he might join).

When you get here, go up the stairs and we are in the room at the back on the right (room 102), it should have a sign that says "sortspoke"
