Some of us attended the last Worn Journal party in the fall and it was a good time. They're doing another one this Saturday - http://www.wornjournal.com/html/its-a-beach-ball-and-youre-invited/ - anyone interested?

Ack! I've been so bad with checking this group lately and missed the
last x number of hangouts, but yes, I would love to see some of your
faces again (and meet new folks)! We love hairpin readers - actually,
I've contributed to the site a couple of times and Worn's promotions
director, Haley, also does the pr for the Hairpin (so clearly that
gives us some cred). Come to our party! The new issue is stellar, if
I do say so myself.

ALSO! If any of you are coming alone and are super shy, you can just
introduce yourself to anyone on staff (we'll hopefully be wearing
"wornette" pins). Or come say hi from me and say you're a hairpin
reader! I'm super tall with long dark hair (which isn't that helpful

I was going to go, and all pumped about going, and then last night I
GOT SICK and am still sick. Second time this year I've had to miss a
magazine launch because of illness!!! Body why!????? :(
