A little help, please

I'd like to see if anybody would like to help with any of the groups.

I'm gonna reply publicly, so I don't have to answer the same thing multiple times. 

I'm looking for a volunteer or two for each group to act as a manager, adding new members when they apply and adding members (and banning them if they spam the group).

If you, or anybody is interested, just let me know that you're interested, and which groups you'd like to help manage.

  I have not moderated before, but willing to have a go. 

You'll see that i have applied to all the groups on your invitation e-mail.

Let me start with 1 group - you choose.

What tasks need doing & what are the criteria for rejecting applications?

Give me a moment to figure out where to start.  My guess is that it won't be a busy one (who ami I kidding; none of them are that busy.)

And usually the applications are the simplest.  There's no way of knowing an applicant's admitted age as you would in Yahoo (funny story, I moderated a Yahoo group with a couple of fetish models in it who had their age listed as 99)

The main thing will be moderating posts.  If you get suspicious posts (ones that look like they're spam or contain viruses, block them and ban the poster).
