[PHNO-sp] RP ICE SKATERS TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CALIFORNIA

NAIA, Pasay City, July 30, 1999 - A 46-man SM Philippines team left for the
United States last night to compete in the 1999 ISI (Ice Skating Institute)
World Recreational Team Championships set Aug. 2-7 in San Jose, California.
The RP skaters who will see action at the Ice Chalet Valico, Eastridge Ice
Arena and Ice Center of San Jose are:
Athena Riego, Catherine Grace Caranto, Shiela Johnson, Reneta Pal, Rosanna
Rogacion, Nona Tagayuna, Nicolette Anne Constante, Tiffany Mangulabnan,
Racquel Talplacido, Charissa Marie Aguiling, Susana Quibol, Christopher Ong,
John Solanzo, Jaylar Zalamea, Rene Jacinto, Gonzalez;
Ian Cruz, Marie Stephanie Torres, Ronna Jomari Capili, Tim Laurence Lin,

group which is supported by SM Group of Companies chair Henry Sy Sr. and
executive vice president Hans T. Sy, Philippine Olympic Committee president
Celso L. Dayrit and Philippine Sports Commission chair Carlos Tuason.
