TONTON SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM CLAUDINE

Manila, March 10, 1999 - Actor Tonton Gutierrez is in a quandary. The face
etched with permanent ink on his chest no longer matches the girl in his heart.

The problem began three years ago, when he and actress Sunshine Cruz were an
item. Sunshine now claims she never had a boyfriend in show business. But
when they were still going out together, their relationship was probably
serious enough for Tonton to suffer the pain of needles pricking his skin as
he had a small tattoo of Sunshine's face engraved on his chest.

These days, Tonton is searching for the best and least painful way of
erasing that tattoo.

He is now seriously involved with actress Glydel Mercado, and industry
sources claim the relationship could very well lead to the altar.

Tonton should have learned a lesson from Claudine Barretto, who had the name
of her sweetheart, Mark Anthony Fernandez, tattooed around her ankle.

Claudine had some sense knocked into her head, Mark Anthony has been in
rehab for many months, and the young Ms. Barretto is involved with someone
new. Thanks to laser technology, Claudine's leg now no longer carry Mark
Anthony's name tag. Should Tonton now phone Claudine for some referrals?
