Quezon City, Dec. 17, 1998 - Here's a bit of new that will make a lot of
readers feel old: former child star Nino Muhlach is getting married in February.
Yes, the lovable chubby tyke, nephew of actress and real estate magnate
Amalia Fuentes, is now a man, in love. Nino will be at the altar with his
bride, 19-year-old Claudine Beltran, after a brief civil wedding in February.
Claudine is a student of St. Paul's University, and met Nino in one of the
watering holes of Morato Avenue while playing billiards with a bunch of
classmates.
Ynez Veneracion, Nino's former girlfriend, wishes them nothing but the best.
Ynez and Nino remain friends.
Relatives and friends are chiding Nino about beating older cousin Aga
Muhlach to the altar. But Aga has an edge over Nino: Aga, though not yet a
groom, has been a father for many years now. His son Iggy, who lives with
Mom Janice de Belen, stays with Aga on weekends.
Aga told reporters recently that getting hitched is still not on his agenda
in the near future.
