Manila, Sept. 14, 2000 - All roads lead to the Coconut Palace today, Sept. 14,
for the 'Wedding of the Year' of Cesar Montano (Cesar Manhilot in real life)
and Sunshine Cruz.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. in time for the glorious sunset
which will certainly make the exchange of vows between them more romantic. It
is remembered that when Cesar proposed marriage to Sunshine, it was just after
sunset too, in a place overlooking the sea in his native Bohol, with music by a
choir highlighting his romantic intentions. There is no doubt that Cesar is
truly a very romantic person.
They will be reading their own marriage vows, not the traditional one. The
background music will also be their own: Cesar composed it himself for the
occasion (and included in his album entitled “Subok Lang” already available in
CDs and cassettes).
They have 28 pairs of principal sponsors and there could have been but they did
try to trim the list down.
“That’s how many who love us, dahil maraming gustong magninong at ninang sa
kasal namin,” Sunshine said.

Sunshine will be wearing an Eric Pineda gown, which, plus 20 others in the
entourage, cost them about P475,000. Cesar will wear a Hugo Bass suit straight
from Europe.
The Coconut Palace charged them a package fee of P1million, including food and
everything.
Cesar wanted his wedding to be unforgettable and unique. He only wanted the
best for the love of his life. In return, Sunshine has promised to love him and
serve him and take care of him till she dies (that’s why she’s quitting showbiz
after their wedding so she could fulfill her marital responsibilities).
“At kahit namatay na ako, siya pa rin ang hahanapin ko,” she said.
