I've been playing with Torch and I understand the basic framework, but is there any way to pass errors back through to the input vectors to learn representations? Something along the lines of word2vec?

An example would help. I found this: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/torch7/word2vec/torch7/L7R1XcMKpEc/I1PE0F47jgkJ but there's no explanation as to what's actually going on.

We use it to learn representations of all kinds!
