cuda runtime error (4) : unspecified launch failure

I keep getting the following error at arbitrary stages during training (but not always):

/usr/local/bin/luajit: /tmp/luarocks_cutorch-scm-1-5430/cutorch/lib/THC/THCStorage.c(113) : cuda runtime error (4) : unspecified launch failure at /tmp/luarocks_cutorch-scm-1-5430/cutorch/lib/THC/THCGeneral.c:241

Could you please help me figure out what's wrong?

Me too facing the same issue here. Is it because the cutorch's version that we are using is an older one?

Hi,

A re-installation of the packages followed by a re-boot resolved this issue for me.
