I need to find a service that would allow me to do several mass
emailings over the next few weeks.

We have a fairly clean, permission-based email list, but would want
the service to be able to handle "drop from list" replies and flag
invalid addresses.

Mailing want to handled it in a way that keeps us from being flagged
as spammers and is respectful of others' inbox preferences.

Recommendations, suggestions - even for your own business - welcome.

Constant Contact is the one that I see used most often.

Constant Contact is great.

I've also used MailChimp recently - http://www.mailchimp.com/compare/

I love and use Campaign Monitor!

Get a good designer to develop a template for you and CM can send the
emails in a way that is friendly to all kinds of email clients. My
good friend Qasim Virjee at http://designguru.com/ does this stuff for
me.

Mark.

Hi John,
I used MailChimp a few times at the beginning of this year and found
them very good. Here is my recommendation of them...

hello folks,
we are looking for a few iphone beta testers. we developed an iphone app
that allows you to take a photograph of a CD cover and perform a search
on itunes using image recognition only; the search results drop you on
the album page on itunes, no typing! and we would like you (with your
iphone) to kick the tires of this little app. we are organizing a little
get together on tuesday eve. if you have an iphone and are interested
can you please ping me directly mailto:lbou...@ideeinc.com

thanks!
