I'm looking to kick off the first PresentationCamp in Toronto, and I
need help.
Instead of going with a full-blown, day-long BarCamp-style event, I'd
like to start with a 2-3 hour long weekday evening event, with a
series of presenters presenting presentations about presenting
presentations better. Or something.
For this, we'll need:
* A Venue. An auditorium(-ish) with room for 100-150 folks? Must be
available on a weeknight.
* Presenters!
* Sponsors? If there's a cost associated with the venue, then ideally
it'll need to be offset. Interested in sponsoring?
I'd love to make this free!
Interested? Drop me a line!
Here's my official post on the matter, and ye olde Twitter account,
for following purposes:

Cheers!
Chris.

but otherwise good idea, my other advice is to keep the presentations
short, which is also a presentation tip in general...
And then there's a lot of different presentation contexts to think
about. The best way to present to say entertain a large audience,
present a keynote vs present an ignite, get elected school president,
present to a board of directors, to close a deal with a new client
etc. all tend to have pretty different presentation styles.
cheers
tom.
