My friends at the public affairs firm Navigator are looking for a web development intern. They are a terrific group, and this is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in WordPress or MySQL/PHP who is looking to add to their portfolio.

Web development internship at Navigator

The Web Design Intern will be charged with providing website and
graphics design assistance. Websites will be developed based on the
needs of Navigator’s clients and consultants and will focus largely on
social media campaigns.

This individual will be expected to create custom WordPress-based
websites from beginning to end of the development cycle, including
wireframe design, HTML and CSS coding, testing, and adapting those files
 for use as WordPress themes.

This will require the individual to manage multiple tasks, provide
support using a variety of digital editing and coding systems and work
collaboratively with members of the Navigator team.

This internship is a minimum of 12 weeks, with the option to renew.
