The Skinny:
What: FailCamp Toronto 3
When: Tuesday, September 28th at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Metro Toronto Convention Center, South Building, Room 716
Why: To share stories of failure, the lessons we learned and bond over
them
On the off chance you haven't seen the blog posts, tweets and
promotions, FailCamp Toronto 3 -- yes, we've had two before -- is
happening on Tuesday!
A quick recap: FailCamp is a celebration of failure. It may be a weird
thing to celebrate, but only if you (ahem) fail to realize its value
as a teacher and a way to bond with others. That's what FailCamp is
all about: sharing our stories of FAIL, but more importantly, sharing
the lessons we learned from those failures and bonding over them.
FailCamp Toronto 3 will be hosted by Joey deVilla (Microsoft,
DemoCamp, accordion-based trouble-making) and John Bristowe
(Microsoft) and will be judged by a "Panel of FAIL" featuring Justin
Kozuch (Refresh Events) and Meghann Millard (Unspace, RubyFringe,
FutureRuby). There will be prizes for the most spectacular stories of
FAIL!
