Doesn't work with MythTV as stated. Crashes ★

Stuck at 50% when trying to play from MythTV 0.25 backend. Crashes when exit out to try another video. Don't buy this version if you are looking for MythTV compatibility. No experience with torcDVR.

I am hoping that this user will contact me in some form so that I can try to address their issue, rather than just leaving it at a one star review.  Since the user is using a .25 backend, the most critical thing is that they be at most recent .25-fixes (25.3).  If the streaming is getting stuck at 50%, it suggests that the backend has not been compiled to support streaming.

Based on the symptoms, I suspect you won't be able to get streaming working on the backend page either.  This will require you to recompile MythTV with the proper flags, and you should take that opportunity to make sure you're on latest .25-fixes as well.  The app is tested with .25 and definitely works when MythTV is compiled properly (and on a version of MythTV with the right fixes).

The crash is a separate issue-- If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's resolved in the 1.13 version awaiting review. (Basically, in rare cases like a misconfigured/miscompiled backend, it's possible for one of the status requests to the backend to not be canceled, and thus when it returns and the view has been dismissed, it causes a crash)
