Hi David,

The latest version of the app has been fairly thoroughly tested with .27.  Are you on the latest available in the app store?  If so, please send the logs from your MythTV backend log.  Also please make sure that you are on latest .27 as prerelease versions were left with some serious bugs in the services API and I had to report a number of recording rule related issues just before the release.

Nobody has reported frontend crashes yet-- bear in mind we only access the services API, so the app itself can't cause a crash, those are MythTV frontend bugs-- but I'm still happy to try to help you figure out why that would happen, and report them.  If your frontend crashes persist, you may need to catch the crash in a debugger, in a version built with debug symbols.  Here's a good MythTV wiki page for doing that.
