Location: Markham, Ontario
Salary: $95,000
Responsibilities:
Managing projects with software and hardware team members
Plan and execute the projects to meet the standards and specifications
Responsible for on-time delivery, quality and solve technical difficulties
Design hardware circuits and the structure of the products, from concept to marketing
Needs to perform a key leadership role
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent; advanced degree in engineering or science will be an asset
Must have minimum 10 years of diversified experience, preferably in the PC computer industry
Minimum of 5 years hand-on experience in Analog, Digital, FPGA, SDRAM, Video and network design is a must.
Must have well developed leadership, interpersonal skills and with at least 2 years of project management experience with a team size more than 5 members. Experience in estimating, scheduling and managing commitments including risk and dependency management
Must have good communication and conflict resolution skills
Must be conversant with software and hardware engineering practices and tools
Experience with all aspects of engineering projects including structure design, product development and systems engineering; EMC and environmental qualification testing; documentation and industry standards
