Pricedex is a growing technology company offering a highly robust
suite of Product Information Management (PIM) software to manage
product, part, and pricing information to our international customer
base.

We are seeking Senior Programmers and Technical Support Specialists
to
join our team at corporate headquarters in Brockville, Ontario. This
is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in the company.

Senior Programmers will be responsible for:

• Developing software code and configuring software
implementations to specifications and business requirements
• Solving complex business process, data, and software
performance
issues using your solid understanding of the technologies in use
• Architecting software solutions and executing on software
development plans
• Providing “hands on” technical leadership to members of the
Pricedex team
• Assisting with difficult and sensitive customer issues

Technical Support Specialists will be responsible for:

• Knowing our software products inside and out
• Providing friendly and responsive technical support to our
customers
• Providing web-related support to the Pricedex Team
• Collaborating with other Pricedex developers to continuously
improve quality and drive competitive advantage in our product
portfolio

Candidates will be evaluated on the extent to which they demonstrate
they possess the following skills and experience:

• Proven expertise with ASP and experience with COM
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming
• Strong knowledge of XML and XSLT, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript,
VBScript and other related web technologies and web services
• In-Depth knowledge of MS-SQL Server
• Ability to quickly grasp the Pricedex technology and customer
needs, and discuss them at a conceptual level
• Software development using VB6, C and C++
• Knowledge of VB.NET and C#
• Ability to be a self-motivator but at the same time a team
player
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Must be willing to work from headquarters in Brockville,
Ontario, Canada

Knowledge of automobiles and their component parts would be a
definite additional asset. Compensation will be commensurate with
fit
and experience.
