to Toronto Plone Users Group
Just a 1 week reminder that the next meeting of the Toronto Plone
Users Group will be held
next Tuesday, July 13, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Location:
McLennan Physical Laboratories - University of Toronto
Room 912
60 St. George Street
Toronto, ON

(When you come in the building, turn left through the doors and then
immediately right through the next set of doors to the elevators. Take
the elevator to the 9th floor.)

Agenda:
We will have general networking and introductions from 6:00 - 6:30,
followed by our presentations. Several of us usually go out to a
nearby pub afterwards to continue our discussions.

Topic: Creating an e-learning system with Plone, presented by Robert
Jackiewicz

e-Learning systems have many special requirements, such as groups that
exist only for the duration of a particular course. Robert will
provide an overview and specific examples for dealing with such
issues, including custom content types, dynamically creating and
managing local roles and group permissions, and more.

Hello All,

I owe everyone a huge apology for my failure to show up yesterday and
the resulting aborted meeting. I have no reasonable excuse whatsoever
to offer.

I failed completely to enter it in my calendar, even after Hugh
Ranali's reminder a week in advance. (I can only guess that I thought
I had already taken care of it.)

I cannot reclaim your lost time for you, but if anybody wants to
submit for small amounts of travel expense reimbursements, I will
gladly pick up the tab.

Should you choose to continue with the hosting arrangement here at
UofT Physics, I promise that this will never happen again, and
everyone gets a free beer after the next meeting.

Sorry.
