Project Description:
Team is building IA based platforms for the Consumer Electronics market segment and enabling Independent Software Vendor (ISV) applications on Intel's platforms. Team responsible for working closely with software engineers from the ISV to help them design, port and integrate their applications on top of Intel's SW/HW platforms.
 
Daily Responsibilities:
-Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Identifying and debugging video/audio/graphics integration issues with drivers and the rest of the software stacks
- Creating and performing high level acceptance testing on software releases from ISVs.
- Setting up software development environments like installing/rebuilding SDKs from ISVs on top of Intel software stack.
 
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Linux, C/C++
Knowledge of audio/video codecs like MPEG2, AC3 etc,
 
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of DirectFB, OpenGL
Ability to work in a fast-paced, and interruption-driven environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of streaming/graphics concepts for Blu-ray & DVD.
