RunAs problems

I have a TopShelf service that works well unless I use the RunAs(username,pwd). option. With the correct username and password, the service installs fine. But when it Starts, it throws and exception "System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (1069): The service did not start due to a logon failure." Why would it work at installation, but fail at Start? If I purposefully give it a wrong logon it will fail during Install . Anybody seen this one?
