Ultimate Frisbee for K-8 students on Fridays!

Hello, TOPS families - 

Many of the students are having a lot of fun with Friday Ultimate Frisbee Clinic! So I would like to extend invitation to all of you - 

For afternoon in-person students, care between 2:30-3:30 will be available with extra fee (it is negotiable), so please let us know. 

Please wear masks on the field when you come to pick up/drop off your students even if you are fully vaccinated. We need to protect coaches and young players. 

Last clinic will be June 18th and there might be a summer clinic for younger students if there is enough interest.

1st grade IA at Mr. Miller’s class, Souma (UW freshman) is having the ultimate frisbee clinics on every Friday 3:30-5:00 at TOPS playfield (rain or shine). No experience needed. They will make it fun for everyone! They are very diligent with COVID safety procedures and following CDC guidelines. (small group instructions, mask enforcement and hand sanitizer on the site)

You do not have to sign up just show up at the TOPS field at 3:30 on Friday. Bring your own water bottle, wear comfortable clothing for running and cleats (if you have them) If you would like to be on the mailing list for last minute changes and extra information, please let us know. 

Asking is $15 if anyone wants to contribute for coaches' financial independence, but it is totally optional and anyone who wants to play will not be turned away. (Venmo @Souma-Yabuki, cash or check)

Souma started playing ultimate frisbee here at TOPS when he was 7th grade and continued playing for 4 years at Ingraham High School. His team won the State Championship and went to High School Nationals twice. He also played for the club team and won the National Championship (mixed division) in 2019. He was also selected to the Japan National Team (U20) in 2020, (World Championship game was unfortunately cancelled.) and waiting for his season at UW to start soon... hopefully...

This clinic is privately run by Souma and his friends and not affiliated with any other organizations nor school district.
