Hi everyone,
I thought I'd send a quick summary of end of the year events/items of interest for the 8th grade since there is a lot going on and  we wanted you to have one place that summarized everything.

1. The Passage ceremony
This will take place via Zoom on Wednesday June 16th at 7 pm.  This is being put on by the school staff. Ms. Schwentor will soon send out a save the date email and you can expect a paper invitation in the mail next week.

2. Awards Assembly
This is also the 16th of June at 8:30 am, parents will be invited to join in.  Ms Schwentor will send out a Zoom link for that as well.

3. Passage day gift delivery
This was going to be on the DL but that's getting too complicated.  A generous donor has allowed us to purchase the sweatshirts and gift bags for the kiddos that we would love your help in delivering on Wednesday to all kids before Passage.  Watch for a sign up genius to help deliver!  Also, we want to make sure that every student receives one before the ceremony so if you live somewhere that might be tricky to deliver to, please let us know the best way to get your care package to your child.

4. TOPS Passage packets
The packets will be handed out when your child returns their laptop to school. This packet will include a thumb drive with Don’s amazing slideshow highlighting the 9 years of TOPS memories, their Passage certificate, 8th grade quotes and other documents.

5. Party/Picnic on Rogers Playfield
This is a parent-organized event taking place on Sunday, June 13th at Rogers Playfield from 3-5 pm.  Martha sent an email out this week with all the details and sign ups.  Please let her know if your child needs transportation.

Last but not least, we'd love to include where kids will be attending high school next year but TOPS can't release that information.  Please let me know where your kiddo will be attending. (justine...@gmail.com)

Hopefully, this helps everyone get a clearer picture of what the next two weeks will include. This has been a unique year and we hope to celebrate this grade and send them off to high school feeling all of our love and support. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you!
