Business Analyst – Card Issuance
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

About
the Role
As
a Business Analyst on the Issuance Platform, you’ll play a
pivotal role in modernizing card management for financial institutions. This
role bridges clients, product management, and development teams — translating
complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for
a cloud-native, API-first platform.
Important: Candidates must
have experience with banking platforms and high-volume payment
systems.
Please note: Insurance or unrelated domain experience will not be
considered for this engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze,
and document functional and non-functional requirements for the
VisionNext platform.
- Create structured documentation such as epics,
user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders
on scope and priorities.
- Partner with technical and QA teams to refine
requirements, assess feasibility, and support throughout the SDLC.
- Support testing and validation, ensuring solutions
meet defined business needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve
complex production incidents.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies,
including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, or
related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years as a Business Analyst
within banking, fintech, or payments.
- Hands-on experience in card issuance, payment
processing, or card management systems.
- Strong understanding of the card lifecycle,
including enrollment, authorization, and dispute processes.
- Proficiency in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and tools
like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and
communication skills.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration with product,
engineering, QA, and client teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience documenting API-based requirements
and working with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise
software environments.
- Basic SQL for data analysis and validation.
