Position: Desktop Application Engineer   

Location: Draper, Salt Lake City, UT/ Remote

Job Description:  
JAMF, MacOS, Intune, Tanium      

• JAMF Administration: Configure, manage, and maintain the JAMF Pro platform (policies, configuration profiles, smart groups, and extension attributes).
• Tanium Endpoint Management: Utilize Tanium for real-time visibility, security monitoring, patch management, and vulnerability remediation across macOS endpoints.
• macOS Engineering: Create, test, and deploy macOS configuration profiles, software packages, and OS updates.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop, maintain, and execute scripts using Bash, zsh, or Python for advanced configuration and automation.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire device lifecycle, from provisioning (Apple Business Manager/Zero Touch) to decommissioning.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Act as an escalation point (Tier 3) for complex macOS, application, and network issues.
• Compliance & Security: Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with company policies, CIS benchmarks, and security frameworks.

 

 

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
