Job Description
We are looking for a strong Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka to work on enterprise-scale, high-performance distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have solid design skills and experience working in cloud-based, scalable environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive innovation strategies, processes, and best practices
- Execute multiple business plans and engineering projects
- Ensure business objectives and technical goals are met
- Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects and create high-level designs
- Lead and mentor a small team of 3–4 engineers on assigned projects
- Design and deliver end-to-end service implementations, data ingestion, and orchestration
- Build and optimize low-latency, high-performance services
- Troubleshoot production and business-critical issues
- Promote company policies, standards, ethics, and best practices
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Java / J2EE and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Strong understanding of:
- Event-driven architecture
- Event sourcing
- Design patterns
- Experience with databases:
- Cassandra
- SQL & NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of building scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments
- Experience developing high-performance ETL and data processing solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous development environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience with large-scale enterprise applications
- Exposure to virtualized or cloud-native environments
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
