Dear all,
The Topological Combinatorics seminar will meet tomorrow March 24, at
10AM in Evans 939.
Last time Matthew Stamps introduced different aspects of oriented
matroids, and we will this time start to discuss the concepts of
(oriented) matroid bundles, the category of matroids, and their
relation to the Grassmannian. He'll loosely follow some survey papers
of MacPherson, Anderson, and Davis (available on our website), filling
in details
where necessary.
