As far as I know, this data transfer is done through a ZIP file.
I don't understand why you don't use this method?
I think I don't understand the question exactly.
Why exactly shouldn't we use Bluetooth or wifi to transfer a ZIP file?
Why should we use a cable?

Plus 1 for OTG cable and a USB drive.
Also, you can export survey as a zip file, rename it if you want, and use the phone file transfer app to put that on the uSD card so it is still there if the phone dies.

thanks for your replies. OTG cable/USB stick seems an interesting and light solution. To transfer a survey from one smartphone to another, the survey is exported as zip file and reloaded in another device using survey import, do I get this right? If yes, do the survey "behave" normally like if it was created directly in the secondary device or is there any limitations?
