Hello Marco

I have version 6.4.57-36 installed. In the SVG export presets, I selected the Illustrator option. However, when I try to import an SVG into the Illustrator file I'm working on, the following happens: 1. I place the preview thumbnail where I want it; 2. It stays where I put it, but the cursor remains on the preview thumbnail and I can't get rid of it unless I press Esc; 3. Then I try to work on that SVG; 4. In the layers panel, I try to view what's inside the group, but I immediately lose access to the group.

Have problems like this been reported?

Thank you for your help.

Hi, Marco.

I've already solved the problems mentioned earlier.

In Illustrator, using the usual "Place" tool to import the SVG generated by TopoDroid X doesn't work.

Instead, you must open a new Illustrator file and use the "Open" tool to directly open the SVG generated by TPD. Everything is impeccable and at the defined scale, including the grid. The file thus created can be saved as .ai and inserted into another file being edited in Illustrator.

Best regards,
