How can we setup a way to measure the mm of thickness in Sierpensky mode? Or how can we measure length or height or width in mm of any edge or face within the program? Thanks?

Hi.

I'd like to send this model the shapeways to print.

The only problem is that they reply with "the edges are too thin." So I go back into topmod and try to manipulate the exact mm of each edge or face. Esepcially the faces.

Is there a setting within topmod to quantify or tell us the exact .mm height, width or length of each face?

Thank you so much!,

We do not have a setting. Unfortunately, we stopped working on TopMod.
I am hoping that one day we will be return back and add such
functionalities.

The only solution now is to import it to a commercial program such as
Rhino or Maya to set up thickness.

I have can do so w maya no prob.

Do u happen to have a link on which menu interface within maya I can apply to measuring mm. Last I checked it did not have mm as a metric.

I suppose I can go to maya tutorial and rtfm but if there's a link u may have that would b a but easier.

I appreciate your response.

Thank you,

I do not remember now. But, I think Maya has cm. Use cm. 0.1cm is 1 mm.
