Hi, Folks,

I wanted to apologize to everyone because last night I fell 6 drafts
short of
meeting my quota. Severe storms moved through the Oklahoma City area,
and we
kept losing both power and internet service. I'm grading most of the
day, so
I'll easily be able to make up these drafts.

I just wanted to let everyone know why I was a bit short meeting my
quota.

By the way, I just realized we should do all our communicating in the
google group. I'm going to start sending all emails via this account.

This is unacceptable! 6 whole drafts behinds! (just teasing)

I didn't even touch any of my 1.1 drafts this weekend -- I graded 90
peer critiques instead. So I have 34 drafts from last week + 39 drafts
from this week (not to mention 45 2nd reads!).

I will focus on 1st reads this week and hope to get through all 73
drafts by this Sunday.

The workload this past week really upset me -- I had no idea that my
weekly quota was going to be over 4 times my normal quota.

Anyway, thanks for being on top of your work. I wish I didn't have all
the dissertation research, Admin, and job search work to do right now
too! It's a busy time of year.
