PRESENTER: Darren Cauthon
TOPIC: How Ruby Has Made Me a Better C# Developer, and a Better Man
A few years ago, while working as a full-time C# developer, I started
spending my free time learning about Ruby. I expected to gain an
insight into a growing community and the popular Ruby on Rails
framework, but what surprised me most was how it changed how I looked
at C# and how I developed .Net applications. This talk is to explain
many of the lessons I learned, including real code samples and demos.
Darren Cauthon is a web developer living in Olathe, KS. He has built
many websites using both .Net and Ruby technologies. In his spare
time, he participates in open-source development on Github, flies
remote control planes, and plays the tuba.
