Hi all, observed a Red-Headed Woodpecker in Welton Grove this morning.

Hi All,

We actually had two red-headed woodpeckers that came to our feeders last winter.  Because we lured them to the railing on the deck just outside the window, there was no mistaking them.  First time I had ever seen one up close. 
We live in the country halfway between Topeka and Lawrence, just north of Big Springs.  They stuck around for about three weeks to a month about February to March.
