Warning about accounts

Dear all,

We just encountered a problem with someone who wanted to join the new group account. They do have a gmail address but wanted to join the new group using a hotmail address. Apparently google groups will now default to your google address, gmail, if you have one. I have so far not found a way around this problem nor will it let me change the email address if someone who has joined.

Just a heads up in case will be a problem for others. Sue Newland

I don't know how it words for new accounts, but I receive it at my yahoo account.
