I noticed that:

did not result in a prefixed name

 

because of ‘µ’…was that to be expected?

 

(can change to micro ….)

Here it is µ == U+00B5 (Micro sign)

which is not the same as U+03BC (Greek mu).

Greek mu is allowed in prefix names. Micro sign is not in the allowed characters.
