Announcement: Release of TopBraid 7.0

Dear Users,

TopQuadrant is pleased to announce the release of TopBraid 7.0!

This new release delivers a modernized architecture and deployment process. It also offers a way to directly edit files using the EDG UI, a number of improvements to ontology development, editing of data, and better support for localization and other capabilities. A new browser plugin for Chrome is being offered in this release with the goal to enable semantically enriched web browsing. Other new features and enhancements include:

A simplified installation process supporting both an interactive UI and scripted deployment
Ability to make updates across multiple asset collections
A new power user role that allows for separation of control for administrative features
Improvements to creating and using workflows
Modernized architecture, including the ability to deploy TopBraid EDG on Tomcat 9 in addition to the previously supported Tomcat 8.5 via the removal of the Equinox dependency
Active data shapes as a fully supported option for defining server-side scripts and customizations in Javascript
Upgrades to Javascript support and other library updates

These and other new features are described in more detail in the release notes and corresponding change log. This version also includes bug fixes as noted in the change log. Updated documentation is also available.
