Greetings,

The log for the SHACL validation and problems won't clear automatically. Is there away to clear the contents of these lists?

Thanks,

Hi Parasto,

there are multiple places in TopBraid products where SHACL validation results are displayed. Are you referring to TBC or EDG? In EDG, is this about the Data Validity over time chart on the Dashboard panel, or the Problems and Suggestions panel? (In both cases I don't think we have ways to clear them but if you could clarify your requirements I can record a feature request for you).

Hi Holger,

I am using TBC 6.4.3. The problem is when I refresh the Problems pane, I sometimes see the leftover issues in the pane. Restarting TBC didn't help. However, creating a new workspace did. I am looking to find a solution that is less drastic.

Thanks,

Ok, so you have used the Refresh and Show Problems button from the tool bar

This Problems metadata is stored in Eclipse and would only disappear if you delete or rename the file that caused the Problems. However, see

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2385402/eclipse-cdt-how-to-clear-problems-window-without-invoking-clean-project-or-buil#:~:text=right%20click%20in%20the%20problems,right%20click%20again%20%2D%3E%20delete.&text=If%20Using%20Checkstyle%2C%20then%20go,%3E%20Checkstyle%20%2D%3E%20Clear%20Violations.

you can right-click on the items and Delete them if needed.

For SHACL, I would simply use the SHACL Validation view as its content is not persisted between sessions, and also provides more info and better ways of navigating to resources:

Use Window > Show View > SHACL Validation if this panel isn't visible.

HTH
