Hi all,

I'm setting up an EDG taxonomy that makes extensive use of SKOS-XL.  I'd like new URIs to utilize a counter, and ideally include a reference to the class/shape this URI was minted for.  So, if someone wants to create a new skosxl:Label, I'd like that URI to be something like: ex: Label_10014 where the 10014 comes from the counter and Label comes from the class.   I've set my URI construction options up to reflect my goals:  URI Class Prefix = Name, URI Construction method "Counter".  I feel like I'm on the right track but  am running into an error (screenshot attached) which says:  "The type Label is undefined in this asset collection and cannot be instantiated."

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Adam,

I am trying to reproduce this, but so far I have not been able to.

I have activated it like
PastedGraphic-2.png

and created an Ontology with a subclass of skosxl:Label, just in case that was the intention behind you label type property.

Can you send me a minimal reproducible file to make sure we are talking about the same thing?

Also which version are you on?

Thanks,
Holger

This was happening to me on v8.0.0 (20240507-1314).  I just updated to the latest release (8.2.1) and the problem disappeared.  I think I'll just let this particular dog stay sleeping.

Thanks for your help,
Adam
